Here’s the details of the road surfacing works due to commence next week from Monday 28th October to Tuesday 5th November 2019 – Between the hours of 9:30am – 3:30pm along a section of Fletton High Street..
I’ve done what I can with the maps provided, joining them together and adding the road names to make them as clear as possible.
Here’s the content of letter which I am told has been sent out to those residents affected.
“Please be aware that during the surfacing there will be no parking available in the area being surfaced. Signage will be in place to advise, accordingly.
“The planned daily work schedule is:-
Section 1 – Monday 28th & Tuesday 29th Surfacing – No Parking 09.30 – 15:30
Section 2 – Wednesday 30th & Thursday 31st Surfacing – No parking 09.30 – 15.30
Section 3 – Friday 1st Nov & Monday 4th Surfacing – No parking 09.30 – 15.30
White lining works – Monday 4th & Tuesday 5th November- No Parking all sections 09.30 – 15.30.
“During the highway works, a road closure will be in place around the works area. However, access to properties will be maintained, but please be patient as there may be short delays.
“The City Council and its Contractor will take every opportunity to ensure that the works progress with the minimum of inconvenience but should it be necessary to restrict access to premises for a short period, your assistance and co-operation would be appreciated.
