Park Farm Defibrillator Install Complete
I’m sure many of you will have already spotted that our Community Defibrillator has now been installed at the main entrance to Heritage Park Primary School and is available for use should the need arise.
The cabinet is locked and the decision on whether to use the defibrillator rests with the 999 call operator. If they feel it is needed they will advise the caller where it is and provide the combination number.
I’d like to personally thank everyone that helped me make this happen –
Lewiss Turner for donating his labour to install the unit, Peter Massingham for donating the electrical materials, EML Electrical Contractors Ltd, Gemma’s Hearts for her advice and organisation, everyone at Heritage Park School, the friends of Heritage Park, my fellow ward councillors and especially to everyone that kindly donated to the appeal.
I hope the unit never has to be used but it’s comforting to know it’s there should the need arise.
